Chiang Mai Thailands second largest city

Chiang Mai is a great city with lots of character. We stayed at Home Place Hotel, cheap, ac, hot water, nice service and cute. They have a great night market and weekend market there without the hussel and bussel of a larger city like Bangkok. At this market there are better prices and more room for entertainment in the streets eg. musicians, dancers etc. They also have more crafts and handmade instruments from the local villages.
